Spaces Designed for the Person You're Becoming
Some rooms drain you the moment you walk in. Others do the opposite, every single day. How is this possible? Biophilic design is the practice of designing spaces the way nature actually works, using natural light, organic shapes, and real materials, so a room doesn't just look good, it makes you feel better in it.Anita Csher, founder and creative director, designs residential and commercial spaces around the world, for clients who want a home or workplace that performs as well as it looks. Before design, she spent more than 10 years behind a camera as a film art director and gaffer in Buenos Aires, Argentina, growing professionally by creating endless compositions, painting with light, building visual moods, and mastering how a space introduces the person who lives in it, before they do.With a degree in Interior and Landscape Design from the EAD (Argentine School of Design), along with specialised training in sustainable architecture, rainwater harvesting systems, urban permaculture, and biophilic design specifically, Anita built and ran her first studio in Buenos Aires before relocating it entirely to Brisbane, Australia, learning an unfamiliar SEQ native landscape from scratch in the process. That range, cinematic, technical, and horticultural, is what lets her take a project from concept to completion.
